My daughter Kayli is a beautiful 10 yr old girl. She had a few extra baby teeth which made all her teeth go crooked. Her top teeth have a bad overbite so bad her teeth scrape together when she chews. She was told she would probly need to wear head gear for a few years. She doesnt smile big because she has buck teeth. She broke off part of one of her teeth while she was riding her bike. She gets made fun of all the time because of her teeth. I know this would change her life. How can we enter if we don’t have a video camera? Is she even eligible? Thanks:)

I am a 49 year old woman who desperately wants to smile on the outside like I smile on the inside. My self-esteem is as crumbled and broken as the many teeth I have lost through aging and genetics and have had to have pulled. In years past, money spent on the dentist was for my children. They are grown now, beginning families of their own. I have gone through some really rough times in my life, my first husband (childrens’ father) and my second husband have both died; thus, I am a twice widowed. I have spent much time and effort moving on and dealing with the grief and issues in my life and am looking with fervor toward the “second half” of my life. (God willing!) Having dealt with issues within me, I am now ready to work on the outside and be able to share my smile and strengths with others!!

. I am a home maker in a home that makes around $26,000 a year but I have a special needs child. So all our money goes to bills, gas, food and etc. I hope you do not take this as wanting a pity party I do not or wanting a hand out, I am just a simple person at their limit to pain that has done their best with what they have. For example, I went to the low income but they need cash upfront($2000 to fix everything I need). I do not have that kind of money and I need 3 teeth fixed BADLY. My father paid for my wisdom teeth to come out and during one of my back teeth just broke like crazy, I have maybe 1/3 of the tooth left. I can’t take the pain anymore. Crying for hours and never being out of pain, I can’t remember the last time I ate without pain! I am also about to finish school and I will be a event and wedding planner and one of my front teeth is broken and that will not look professional so this has the potential to hurt my new career before I even get the chance to start my dream job, and to have that happen after making good grades the thought kills me. I may be able to provide a nice living for my family for better then we have now, to take some weight off my husband and to get he and I medical and health insurance. I know this sounds like I want pity but again I do not I just want help, I do not know what else to do. If you can help in any way I would be appreciative and indebted for life. I would do all I could to give back when I could and it would never be enough!

My last dentist, knowing that I had very sensitive teeth, and a VERY fixed income, had agreed on a specific dollar amount,(telling my family and me that he would include some discounts,) agreed to see if he could aide my sensitivity with a procedure. We agreed to not surpass $1400.00 for ALL the work entailed. When I went to my first appointment, he was extremely annoyed that my teeth were so sensitive that just the cleaning caused great pain. He decided to forgo the cleaning and hurrry me through. When I finally saw him, he was extremely rude, talking about and complaining about other patients. He was very angry( his words and actions showed with no uncertainty that he did not want to work on me due to my sensitivity,)and continued to give me 12 shots of Novocain. I could not talk or move any facial features to alert him that he still did not numb the actual teeth he was working on. He proceeded to(without any communication with me as to what he was doing,) file down the surfaces of ALL of my teeth. On the front four top and bottom teeth, he applied a thin coat of something as thin as nail polish. I left feeling confused and angry. While in the parking lot of his office, two of the ” coatings fell immediately off. I went back two more times to have the repeated problem addressed over and over. Then I received his bill, which was automatically placed on a credit line without my consent, for a total of over $6,000.00. He refused to continue to correct the awful work and denied ever meeting with my husband and me to agree on a total for all work completed. He never completed the corrections. My teeth, within the last 8 months, have gone from being sensitive before to having EVERY tooth in my mouth being cavity ridden. ALL of my teeth are now brown and quickly rotting away. I cannot afford to my teeth fixed by a better dentist due to quickly being sent to collections. My primary general practitioner has seen the quick decay and immidiately put me on antibiotics. So, I can no longer smile or fix the situation. I am simply stuck taking the antibiotics indeffinately. I have two children and I feel robbed. I am a happy person, so not having the comfort to smile with my brown teeth is absolutely humiliating and has made me much more of a recluse. Having the help to fix my smile would, in no uncertain words, change my life and my family’s life, as I wouldn’t be so selfconcious and could participate in my children’s activities and maybe even kiss my husband with confidence. Thank you for your time.
    Sincerely,
    Patrice Bostrom

Hi everyone. I’ve read the posts and they are touching. I myself have a dental issues and I’m looking into going to Hungary to get a whole dental makeover which will allow me to have more confident. I choose Hungary because I did some search and found out that it is the cheapest way to go right now. The total cost maybe around $6,000 which includes bridges, veneers, airfare, and accommodation. I’ve became unemployed July 2011 and in the hunt for a new job. I am pursuing my masters degree and will be graduating in April 2012. However, I don’t want to go and face my interviewers with missing teeth. I had a bridge on one side of my mouth where I had 2 missing teeth and it got broke. The other side has 2 missing teeth as well that was never taken care of due to the cost. If anyone wishes to sponsor me please feel free to send a donation to my paypay.com at dsamuel546@aol.com. It will be well appreciated.
